The Good Meeting

This page contains some codes of conduct for a "good meeting" using coffeedrinker, most of it is common sense.

Do's

Do be polite, inclusive, listen to the person - they have taken the time to meet you, no meeting is a waste of time, remember to swap contact details, a person shouldn't have to ask you for them.

Do meet in a public place for safety reasons and tell somebody where you are going.

Do focus on sharing your business opportunity/sharing business tips at some point during the meeting so you both feel you have learned something new (other than your illness or which politician you dislike this week!).


Don't

Don't be rude, offensive or do pressure sales / prospect for cash gifting, or anything else illegal or immoral!

- Life is tough enough without having to deal with somebody flogging counterfeit, t-shirts or electricals off the back of a van!

Don't give anyone pin numbers, money or personal details about family/friends at meetings.

Don't get in a car with strangers - they steal adults as well you know!
